Create Stencil Apertures
· You can quickly create all the standard and new lead free stencil apertures from pads. Once defined the software can find all similar pad patterns and automatically replace with the stencil apertures. Homebase, single row, dual row, quadpack patterns are supported as well a single pads. Radius corners, symmetrically/ asymmetrically swell or shrink sides of the pad is also supported.
Import Component Information
· Component information can now be imported when available from the customers data. The information can be used for selection/ editing of data such as creating stencils.
Netlist Extraction Improved
· Shielded adjacency for moving probe testers can reduce short tests by 50% or more. Our software extracts the nets quickly usually with minimal impact to extraction time.
· New midpoint algorithm allows you to identify midpoints on all nets or to ignore large drawn areas. This allows large drawn areas to now identify the pads closest to the edge of the drawn area as endpoints while leaving the other pads as midpoints.
Arrow Markers
· A tool to create arrows for marking areas of interest is now available. Useful for highlighting or sharing areas on a design for further evaluation.
AOI/ CAMTEK
· CAMMaster will now output AOI compatible data for the CAMTEK inspection machines.
Import/Export Sieb & Meyer
· Sieb & Meyer rout files can now be imported and exported. Previously only drill files were recognized..

Test Product Highlights:

Polygons are Now Viewable
· ProbeMaster, FixMaster, and Verify now display polygon data from F04 files. The polygons will be displayed as outlines. You no longer need to convert polys to drawn lines in CAMMaster to be able to view in test.
Minimum Exposed Copper
· Test points can now be determined by evaluating the exposed copper. Partial covering by soldermask and drilled holes will be evaluated to find the meatiest area of the pad to test.
Inspect Adjacency and Shielded Adjacency
· ProbeMaster now has the capability to inspect adjacency and shielded adjacency from F04 files. The user can step through the nets to see the adjacent nets that will be tested. Nets that are shielded and the nets that are shielding will be identified.
Scripting in ProbeMaster
· ProbeMaster now supports ActiveX controls for scripting. You can create and edit macros as well as create Sax Basic scripts This completes all of the major PentaLogix products being able to support scripting (FixMaster support was in release 9.2).
New Items Reported in Stats Menu
· The stats menu (F6) in ProbeMaster will report the adjacency threshold for F04 files. The number of adjacent nets as well as the estimated savings from shielding will also be reported.
Mason MXG Support
· Support for the Mason MXG tester is now in FixMaster.
Quicker Access to Data in Verify
· Quick Input dialog now closes using the return or the right arrow keys. Also a new icon will allow the user to toggle between CPU/CPL/Inner/All, eliminating the need to access menus.
