CAM Product Highlights:
Insert Chamfers
· You can now edit traces by adding chamfers or arcs to any corner. Automatically
follows the path of the existing traces to make the chamfer as small or large
as you wish.
Improved Trace Editing
· Powerful new tools to edit traces have been added. Move segments, vertexes,
or endpoints. You can also drag segments, vertexes or endpoints. All without
losing connectivity with the adjoining segments. Also works with the new chamfer
feature.
Import ODB++ files from a Directory
· Besides importing ODB++ from TGZ or TAR files, the user can now import
directly from an uncompressed ODB directory.
Select Duplicate Entities
· Looks for elements that are geometrically identical and in the same
spot (on top of each other) and of the same shape (although not necessarily the
same D Code). The user can then perform operations on the selection, such as
deleting the duplicates.
Merge Trace Segments into One Trace
· Merge Collinear Traces, linear traces in a selection that continue each
other and are collinear (on the same line). They will be replaced with one trace
which spans the whole distance.
Paint & Scratch Now On One Layer
· Previously, each grouping of paint or scratch elements would take up
separate layers. Now each board layer will be in one layer, regardless of how
many paint & scratch elements there are. The individual paint & scratch
elements can still be expanded into individual layers for editing if needed.
Optimize Paint & Scratch Groupings
· You can now optimize the paint & scratch groupings to reduce the
number of polarity switches.
New Ways to View Selected Elements
· In addition of the existing methods, highlighted elements shown in white
or a contrasting color, you can now view by dimming the unselected elements or
graying out the unselected elements. This is very useful when viewing elements
crossing several layers.
Blankouts
· Need to add special elements such as plating bars to your fingers. But
you don't want the shorting bar to effect netlist generation. You can now blankout
any features to be ignored for netlist's. This feature also has added enhancements
when used with Lloyd Doyle AOT equipment.
Select Routing Precedence
· A new tool to allow quick setting of routing path precedence for the
selected routing paths
Select Routing Compensation
· The properties for routing paths have an added element: compensation.
It can have three states: None, Left and Right.
Layers
Toolbar Now has Five New Commands
· Five more commands have been added under “Select”: “All”, “Traces”, “Pads”, “Polygons” and “Routing
Paths”. These commands will select only elements from the layer that was
picked and is independent of the other criteria such as visibility.

Polygon Features
· Replace selected polygons with the area that the poly's overlap or intersect.
You can also select elements and convert them into polygons.
Replace Custom Shapes with Simple Shapes
· Many systems such as photoplotters cannot use custom shapes. You can
now replace custom shapes with simple elements including paint & scratch.
Delete Unused has Been Greatly Improved
· Delete unused pads now recognizes arcs, polygons, custom shapes (M-type
D Codes), paint-and-scratch and negative layers.

· FixMaster now supports ActiveX controls for scripting. You can create

· EPC files are now properly exported. The user now can export EPC files
