CAM Product Highlights:

    Custom Properties
    · Unique properties can be attached to the database elements: pads, traces etc. Their greatest use is as a selection criterion. That way one can first select (and then operate on) elements that have certain custom properties.
    Support for Routing Within CAMMaster
    · New data structures have been added to represent NC routing paths. Rout path files can be easily defined in CAMMaster. For more information on this topic please see the document “CAM Support for Routing”.
    Guess File Type to Import
    · A new command for importing files of unknown type or format. The software will attempt to guess the type (Gerber, DPF, Excellon, netlist, etc.) and (where applicable) the format (Leading/Trailing etc.). The file is then imported into the current layer.
    A New Layer Type
    · The new type is a generic plane layer type. In addition , there are now 99 generic plane layer types (P01-P99). They can be used for netlist extraction for either ground or power plane layers.
    A New Navigation Aid
    · One can now drag the view by dragging the mouse (with the left button pressed) while both the Ctrl and Alt keys are pressed.
    Area Computation
    · One can now compute the copper area of any portion of a board by selection.

    · From within your CAM software, you can now quickly check for newer versions of the software available for downloading.

Test Product Highlights:
    Expanded Feeds/Spindles Values
    · For tool ranges in the Material Table in the Fixture Setup Table ( from 20 to 88 ).
    Drill Text Parameters
    · Now saved in and read from template files.
    TP Annular Ring Optimize
    · optimizes test points on through holes - checks to see if a through hole that has a test point has enough soldermask clearing ( determined by a user defined threshold - min separation between the hole  and the smaller soldermask pad). If not, the program tries to move the test point to the other end of the through hole if there is enough soldermask clearing on the other side. The feature will also remove test points on pads that are completely covered by soldermask.
